Thirty-five countries have been confirmed as participants in Eurovision 2026. Iceland became the fifth country to withdraw after Israel was cleared to compete, following earlier boycotts by Spain, Ireland, Slovenia and the Netherlands. The European Broadcasting Union published the list of public service broadcasters that will transmit the contest and named returning broadcasters from Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova after absences. The event will mark the 70th edition, with the director highlighting the contest's role in uniting diverse voices, cultures, languages and music.
