Revenue is pursuing Paul Howard and partner Una McClean for judgments totalling more than €3 million related to a tax-evasion court case. A tenant, Bruno Clement, says he was illegally evicted by Howard and that the eviction "ruined a part of my life". Bruno Clement spent four years attempting to obtain compensation from his former landlord. The illegal eviction left Clement and six other people homeless. The legal and financial actions against Howard and McClean include both the tax-evasion case and efforts to enforce judgment debts. The case has resulted in prolonged hardship for the evicted tenants.
