Loch Ness Monster hunter stunned by creature 'as big as three men'
"I saw a large creature, brown-black in colour, just breaking the surface, creating a strange circular movement. I was puzzled, wondering what this spectacle was that was unfolding in front of my eyes on the surface of the loch. I had never seen movement like this before - it was very strange and fascinating. There are no known creatures in the loch that are that size. I think it could be one of the Nessie family."
"It was featured in a documentary called The Secrets of Loch Ness. The footage showed an object in the water that was moving in a circular manner also. On this program it was suggested that two visible wakes could have collided to form this swirl in the water. But in my footage, the water surface is calm, unlike the video footage of 1992, when it was visibly rough. There are no visible wakes in the water, or boat activity prior to sighting, to cause any swirl."
Eoin O'Faodhagain observed a roughly 17-foot-long, five-foot-wide brown-black shape breaking the surface of Loch Ness and creating a circular movement. The sighting was captured on September 23 by a webcam at the Clansman Hotel maintained by Visit Inverness Loch Ness. The water surface was calm with no visible wakes or boat activity preceding the movement, leaving the swirl unexplained. The pattern of motion recalled a 1992 sighting, though that earlier footage showed rough water and possible wake collisions. Eoin has multiple entries in the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register and regards the object as potentially part of the 'Nessie family.'
