More drone footage shot for Jim Gavin's campaign launch in Dublin city centre without permission
"Footage used on social media did not have green light from AirNav"
"Fianna Fe1il blames 'oversight' by the camera operator"
"Gavin says 'mistakes are made, we simply learn from them'"
"Presidential candidate Jim Gavin has reported a second incident where his team flew a drone without permission - this time over Dublin city centre."
Footage used on social media did not have the regulator's green light from AirNav. Fianna Fe1il blamed the unauthorised flight on an 'oversight' by the camera operator. Jim Gavin described the event as a mistake and said 'mistakes are made, we simply learn from them'. Gavin had previously warned about the need for drone operators to know the rules. Gavin reported this as a second incident in which his team flew a drone without permission, this time over Dublin city centre. Fianna Fe1il will carry out an audit to check for any further breaches of drone rules.
