Presidential candidate Jim Gavin reported a second incident in which his team flew a drone without permission over Dublin city centre. Footage from that flight used on social media did not have approval from AirNav. Fianna Fáil attributed the unauthorised footage to an 'oversight' by the camera operator. Gavin said 'mistakes are made, we simply learn from them' and reiterated previous warnings about the need for drone operators to know and follow regulations. Fianna Fáil will conduct "an audit" to check for any other scenarios of non-compliance with drone usage rules.
