Two young men die after traffic collision in Tipperary
"Two adult males, aged in their early 20s and late teens, who were occupants of one of the cars, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two females, both aged in their 20s and travelling in a second car, were taken by ambulance to Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Six other individuals were medically assessed at the scene and did not require immediate hospital treatment."

A serious collision involving four vehicles occurred shortly before 6pm on a local road at Killeen, Ballinunty. Two male occupants, aged late teens and early 20s, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two women in their 20s were taken by ambulance to Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Six other people were assessed at the scene and did not require hospital treatment. The road remains closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place. The local Coroner has been notified and a Family Liaison Officer appointed. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage; investigations are ongoing.
