Ukrainian rescue services worked at the site of a Russian drone strike in Sumy after a residential building in the village of Chernechchyna, Krasnopillia community, was hit. Four people — a couple and their two young sons, aged six and four — were killed and recovered from under the rubble. Russia said it came under attack from Ukrainian drones overnight and that 81 were intercepted and destroyed. A separate large-scale, 12-hour Russian drone and missile attack on Sunday killed at least four people in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl, and injured dozens across the country.
