You can now control the DJI Neo 2 with your Apple Watch
"The DJI Neo 2 drone was launched internationally in November, and today a new update lets you control the drone entirely from your Apple Watch. This works with the Apple Watch Series 8 and later, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3."
"The new DJI Neo 2 firmware, which unlocks this functionality, is labeled v01.00.0500. You also need the latest version of the DJI Fly app - v1.19.4. And that's it."
"There are some caveats, however. While there will be a live camera view on your watch, Apple's power saving rules will still apply when you lower your wrist (but it's live again when you raise it). You can even voice control the drone from your wrist (after having given DJI Fly mic access on your iPhone and then having turned on Voice Control in the DJI Fly settings). Your watch can also become a mini mic for on-the-go sound."
DJI Neo 2 gains full Apple Watch control for Series 8 and later, plus Ultra 2 and Ultra 3. The feature requires Neo 2 firmware v01.00.0500 and DJI Fly app v1.19.4. The Apple Watch can display a live camera view, but Apple's wrist-based power saving will blank the display when the wrist is lowered and restore it when raised. Voice control from the watch is possible after granting DJI Fly microphone access on the paired iPhone and enabling Voice Control in DJI Fly settings. The watch can also act as a mini microphone. The control mode suits sports such as cycling and running.
