Black Veil Brides Announce New Album VINDICATE, Unveil Title Track
"This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There's a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what's tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us."
"Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes it's about getting even with someone else, sometimes it's about confronting ourselves and our past, our pain, or the things that were done to us. At its core, though, this album is about resilience."
"The new song showcases the band's trademark theatrical heavy metal sound, fusing anthemic hard rock, metalcore riffs and breakdowns, and glam metal-inspired lead guitarwork, set against a gothic metal backdrop. Of particular note, as with the other singles released thus far, is the sharp and dynamic drumming, injecting more technical grooves and fills than past BVB releases."
Black Veil Brides announced their seventh studio album VINDICATE, releasing May 8th via Spinefarm Records. The title track serves as the fourth single, following previously released tracks "Bleeders," "Hallelujah," and "Certainty." The album explores themes of revenge and vindication, examining emotions that can fuel growth or become destructive. Vocalist Andy Biersack explains each song addresses different aspects of this struggle, from seeking retribution to confronting personal pain and past trauma. The album ultimately centers on resilience. The band supports the release with a 24-date North American tour from April 25th through May 30th. The new single showcases their theatrical heavy metal sound, blending anthemic hard rock, metalcore elements, and glam metal influences within a gothic metal framework, featuring notably technical and dynamic drumming.
