"Byrne and Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams have now collaborated multiple times; Paramore initially offered their cover of Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House" for the 2024 Stop Making Sense tribute album, Williams recently guested on Who Is the Sky? track "What Is The Reason For It?," and the pair have an upcoming collaborative song titled "Open The Door" that they recorded for the Netflix adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits."
David Byrne is touring North America in 2025 to support the album Who Is the Sky?. During a Radio City Music Hall stop he covered Paramore's 2017 hit "Hard Times" in a distinctive Byrne-ified arrangement. His band performed while singing, dancing, and playing various instruments while moving across the stage, adding soaring harmonies, saxophone lines, and choreographed movements. Byrne has included the cover regularly throughout the tour, which runs through December. Byrne and Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams have collaborated multiple times, including a guest appearance on Who Is the Sky?, a Paramore cover contribution to a 2024 tribute album, and an upcoming Netflix soundtrack song.
