It's out this spring via Mother West and features covers of his songs by Linda Smith,Stephin Merritt (The Magnetic Fields), Jon DeRosa (Aarktica) and Charles Newman, Kendall Jane Meade, Dudley Klute, Moth Wranglers, Stephen Coates (The Real Tuesday Weld), and Julia Kent who does this lovely version of "Ephemera.""
Multiple new releases across genres are highlighted, including Gorillaz's "Damascus" featuring Omar Souleyman and Yasiin Bey, previewing an album called The Mountain. A.G. Cook released "Dread," the first music from his score to A24's mockumentary starring Charli XCX, with the score due January 30 via A24. Washington D.C. grinders No/Más shared "Manic" ahead of their album No Peace, due March 13 via Redefining Darkness. A tribute album, All These Things I Thought I Knew, will celebrate LD Beghtol with covers by artists such as Julia Kent, who covers "Ephemera." Ekko Astral shared a live performance of "i90" featuring Josaleigh Pollett.
