"A 61-year-old Florida man was arrested on Saturday on charges of video voyeurism after filming men in the bathroom at the April 18 Naples Pridefest and posting the video to YouTube. Andrew Sheets posted a 40-minute body-cam video of his time at the event, which included bathroom footage. The video also shows him asking various vendors and attendees whether they think it's against the First Amendment that the nearby streets were blocked off, presumably for security, so that protestors could not get too close."
"In the bathroom footage, Sheets uses the restroom, then captures others in a mirror while washing his hands. The people recorded ended up being two undercover cops, who reportedly told police they felt "shocked" and "embarassed" by the video posted online. "Yes, I did go in. Public bathroom. Nobody was in there. I went to the stall to pee," Sheets told Gulf Coast News Today."
""My intent was not to get [expletive] pics, like they're trying to say. If it was illegal, why didn't the cops have it taken down? If it was illegal, why [isn't] YouTube taking it down?" A statement from Naples Pride said Sheets was using Meta smart glasses to record and pointed out that "the irony is difficult to ignore." "A man who publicly accused our community of 'grooming' now stands accused of unlawfully recording people in a place where privacy is expected."

He uploaded a 40-minute body-cam video that included bathroom footage and showed him asking vendors and attendees about whether street blockades violated the First Amendment. He claimed the recording was for documenting “grooming” at the event. In the bathroom footage, he used the restroom and recorded others in a mirror while washing his hands. The people recorded were two undercover officers who reported feeling shocked and embarrassed. Naples Pride said he used Meta smart glasses and criticized the contrast between his accusations and the privacy expectations of the bathroom.
