The Dare, a prominent figure in NYC's indie sleaze scene, performed the fourth night of his seven-show residency at Baby's All Right, attracting a sold-out crowd. Harrison Patrick Smith, known for his eclectic style and captivating stage presence, showcased a mix of new tracks from his latest album, 'What's Wrong With New York?', alongside popular classics. The atmosphere was electric as attendees enjoyed the party vibes, with opening DJ sets amplifying the excitement leading up to Smith's performance later in the evening.
Members of fellow NYC-based act Geese opened the night with a DJ set onstage, while a local DJ kept the crowd occupied as they entered the building.
The 13-song set, just about 50 minutes in length, was comprised of a majority of tunes off his latest record, What's Wrong With New York?, released this past fall.
Smith, donned in his signature suit, tie, and sunglasses, held the capacity crowd of 280 in the palm of his hands with erratic twists and turns and high-pitched yelps.
Many knew the songs back to front, moving in sync with the bass and the beat drops.
