A record crowd gathered at Sound River Studios in Long Island City for the 22nd annual Queens Taste. More than 50 vendors offered dishes from across Queens and around the world, with about 580 guests attending. The event, organized by the Queens Economic Development Corporation, aims to spotlight top restaurants and bars and encourage guests to visit their physical locations. It also seeks to highlight Queens as a culinary destination by reflecting the borough’s diversity and thriving food scene. Guests sampled authentic West African jollof rice, ceviche, and pupusas from restaurants representing different communities and neighborhoods across Queens.
