"In their final season together, the two seniors have an opportunity to make history -- in multiple ways. According to ESPN Research, Singleton and Allen are the first Power 4 running back duo to each rush for 750-plus yards in three consecutive seasons since at least 1996. (Indiana's Antwaan Randle El and Levron Williams matched the feat from 1999-2001, but Randle El was a quarterback)."
Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen form a complementary Penn State rushing duo, likened to cookies-n-cream from Berkey Creamery. They are longtime roommates who are quiet, soft-spoken and passionate about football. Both seniors have an opportunity this season to make history by continuing streaks of high rushing production. ESPN Research shows they are the first Power 4 running back duo to each rush for 750-plus yards in three consecutive seasons since at least 1996. Allen has 273 yards with an 8.0-yard average; Singleton has 179 yards with a 4.4-yard average. The pair have combined for eight touchdowns and are near Penn State's career rushing mark.
