"If this is what the league wants, OK, but I want to call for a change of leadership at the league level when it comes to officiating,"
"The officiating crew that we had tonight, for the leadership to deem those three people semifinal playoff worthy, it's f---ing malpractice."
"probably a fracture"
Cheryl Reeve criticized the officiating crew after Minnesota lost 84-76 to the Phoenix Mercury in Game 3 of the WNBA semifinal series. Napheesa Collier was injured when her left ankle collided with Alyssa Thomas on a play where no foul was called; Collier hobbled to the bench and missed the final 21 seconds. Reeve called for a change in league officiating leadership and labeled the crew's performance 'malpractice.' Reeve was ejected after receiving a second technical while confronting officials and then yelled profanities at arena fans. The game featured 15 lead changes and Collier finished with 17 points.
