Availability of USC's Ja'Kobi Lane, Elijah Paige remains murky
""He's really created his own value here,""
""He can play any of the receiver positions in our offense. Just does a lot of things well.""
""I don't think it'll be super long, but at the same time, I can't sit here today and say for sure he's going to play next week or in the coming weeks.""
Junior wideout Ja'Kobi Lane returned to practice Tuesday after missing the Michigan State game with an upper-body injury suffered the previous week. Junior offensive tackle Elijah Paige was not seen entering or leaving practice after leaving Saturday's game in the second quarter and was replaced by Justin Tauanu. Coach Lincoln Riley declined to provide updates and directed reporters to the Big Ten availability report released two hours before kickoff. Without Lane, senior Jaden Richardson increased his role and production. Lane is averaging nearly 27 yards per catch this season. USC has a bye week after Illinois.
