A hot, humid July training-camp afternoon saw Brian Burns sprint roughly 30 yards downfield to chase a long Greg Dulcich reception, colliding violently with off-guard Wan'Dale Robinson and knocking out one of Robinson's teeth. Both players were shaken and missed some practice time but ultimately recovered. Burns' effort set a tone for his season and drew praise from teammates like Dexter Lawrence III for his relentless motor. Position coach Charlie Bullen noted Burns' commitment to process from spring workouts. Burns finished second in the NFL with 16.5 sacks and earned his third Pro Bowl selection.
