Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray apologized after posting a photo of himself wearing a retro Virginia Tech Michael Vick jersey while posing with one of his pitbulls and removed the Instagram post. Murray expressed empathy to people who were offended and said he does not condone animal cruelty or dog fighting. He said he wore the jersey because he admired Vick growing up. Murray has two American Pit Bull Terriers named Swoosh and Trunks and said they are treated like kings. He apologized to anybody affected and said he took the post down after seeing its impact.
