Chiefs confirm Pacheco (knee) return Thursday
""We'll get him in there," Reid said. "How much? I can't tell you that right now. We'll see how it goes.""
""The main thing right now is just get in and learn what we're doing and we'll take it from there," Reid said of Pierce. "He's been productive. He's a good player. [General manager] Brett [Veach] is always doing a nice job of finding guys and adding them to the roster. We'll just see how it goes here.""
Isiah Pacheco will rejoin the Kansas City Chiefs' lineup for Thursday's road game at Dallas after missing time with a right knee injury sustained Oct. 27. Pacheco participated in three practices last week and will have 10 days to rest before the Week 14 primetime game against the Houston Texans. In his absence, Kareem Hunt took on a heavier workload, posting season highs with 30 rushing attempts, 104 yards and a touchdown in the comeback win over the Colts. The Chiefs added Dameon Pierce to the practice squad after his release by the Texans; Pierce has 10 carries for 26 yards this season and could play a limited role against his former team.
