Citing privacy, Berkeley's Top Dog refused to tell us Jared Goff's lunch order
""I can tell you they were a very nice family," John said."
""I'm not going to give that information out," he said."
""That's his own personal business.""
Jared Goff visited Top Dog in Berkeley with his parents and posted a photo of the Durant Avenue Top Dog sign on his Instagram story. John, a Top Dog manager who declined to share his last name, confirmed that Goff had lunch and said he did not know who Goff was until customers informed him. John described the family as very nice and refused to disclose Goff's order, calling it his personal business. Several customers took photos with Goff, and one fan captured him on Telegraph Avenue. Goff said he was in Berkeley to meet Cal football head coach Tosh Lupoi. Cal Football shared photos of Goff, his wife, and their child visiting UC Berkeley. Goff grew up in Marin County, his parents live in Novato, and he attended UC Berkeley from 2013 to 2015. Aaron Rodgers also praised Top Dog in 2024.
