The Patriots outgained the Steelers 369-203 and registered nine more first downs but managed only 14 points in a Week 3 loss. New England committed five turnovers, the most in a single game since November 2008, and lost by seven points. Quarterback Drake Maye urged teammates to rally around each other, pump one another up and take pride in correcting the turnover issue. Maye emphasized that moving the ball showed progress but that turnovers make winning difficult and cannot be treated as a problem fixed by simply saying it will be resolved next week.
