Shaquille Leonard, 30, is retiring as a member of the Indianapolis Colts and will address fans at halftime and serve as the team's anvil striker before kickoff. The Colts selected him in the second round of the 2018 draft from South Carolina State. Leonard was NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2018 after leading the league with 163 tackles and 111 solo tackles and earned three first-team All-Pro selections and three Pro Bowls. He underwent two back surgeries after a 2022 season limited by injuries, returned in 2023, was released in November, and finished that season with the Philadelphia Eagles. In 70 games with Indianapolis he recorded 614 tackles, 12 interceptions, 17 forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.
