The Sharks held him back briefly for a conditioning assignment following a right ankle injury sustained Nov. 5. He began a conditioning stint with the San Jose Barracuda, playing two AHL games Dec. 5 and 6 and recording one assist. Misa skated with Joe Thornton at the Sharks' facility and has one goal and two assists in seven NHL games this season. He was drafted second overall after leading the CHL with 134 points last season.
