Justin Gill, a promising prospect selected by the New York Islanders in the 2023 NHL Draft, had an impressive track record with both the Sherbrooke Phoenix and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Following a successful season in the QMJHL, Gill managed to score 22 points as a rookie in the ECHL. Despite his achievements, the Islanders opted not to sign him to an entry-level contract before the deadline, allowing him to sign with the Cincinnati Cyclones, where he is viewed as a key scoring asset.
