"St. John's can clinch a share of the regular-season title for the sixth time in school history and the first time in consecutive seasons since 1984-85 and 1985-86. The Red Storm have followed up their humbling 32-point loss at UConn on Feb. 25 with a lopsided win against Villanova and the comeback against Georgetown."

St. John's Red Storm, ranked No. 18, enters their regular-season finale against Seton Hall with a 24-6 record and 17-2 Big East conference mark, on the verge of clinching at least a share of the Big East regular-season title. If St. John's and No. 4 UConn both finish 17-2, the Big East will use NET ranking to determine the top seed, with UConn currently ranked No. 8 and St. John's No. 22. The Red Storm recently overcame a 12-point deficit to defeat Georgetown 72-69, with center Zuby Ejiofor scoring 23 points. St. John's can clinch a share of the regular-season title for the sixth time in school history and the first consecutive seasons since 1985-86. Seton Hall, seeking a signature win to enhance its NCAA tournament bubble status, earned a bye in next week's Big East tournament.
