Harvey Morrison Sherratt's parents announced that Tánaiste Simon Harris and Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeil committed to an inquiry into spina bifida and scoliosis care at Children's Health Ireland (CHI). The commitment followed a meeting at Government Buildings between the parents, Gillian Sherratt and Stephen Morrison, and Mr Harris and Ms Carroll MacNeil. The meeting took place this afternoon. The planned inquiry will examine care for children with spina bifida and scoliosis within CHI. The parents sought official assurance and oversight regarding clinical services provided to Harvey and other children with similar conditions.
