Despite high confidence in vaccines, the report emphasizes the need for improved access and support to reverse this concerning trend, as no childhood vaccine has met WHO targets since 2022.
"The reality is that there are many who simply need better support and easier access to appointments," Dr. Stewart said, highlighting that logistical issues are a major barrier.
"Confidence in vaccines is still relatively high, but barriers to accessing jabs are why many families don't protect their children," the report revealed.
