"While no official recall has been issued, nor reported illnesses related to the two products, the USDA warned that meals may be contaminated with the same strain of listeria found in a separate chicken fettuccine Alfredo product sold at Walmart that has killed four people and sickened at least 20."

The FSIS alert now includes Trader Joe's Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast Fettuccine Alfredo in 16-ounce trays with best-by dates Sept. 20, 24 and 27 and mark "P- 45288." FreshRealm testing confirmed Listeria monocytogenes in the Walmart linguine and further testing will determine genetic relation to the outbreak strain. No recall or illnesses tied to these two products have been reported, while a related Walmart product has been linked to multiple deaths and illnesses.
