Marcia Davies served as MBA's chief operating officer, leading implementation of strategic initiatives and directing external activities including public affairs, marketing, conferences, membership, education, IT and office services. She restored financial stability to the association. Davies founded mPower in 2016 to promote advancement of women in the mortgage industry; mPower grew to a community of over 26,000 members and delivers conferences, webinars, networking events and online programming. Earlier roles included senior adviser at HUD directing industry relations and 21 years at Freddie Mac in senior management across communications, customer outreach, marketing, servicer relations and policy.
