WorldPride isn't just a time to party but to protest in the defense of trans survival
Briefly

As WorldPride approaches, it serves as a reminder that Pride has always transcended celebration, embodying a fight for rights and existence, especially for TGNBI individuals. With concerns about political control and a tactical attack on basic rights, the upcoming National Trans Visibility March (NTVM) symbolizes a collective stance against oppression. Scheduled in Washington, D.C., this event aims to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds to amplify their voices, promote empowerment, and advocate for both survival and visibility in advocacy efforts against systemic challenges.
As a Black trans man, a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, and an advocate for equity and inclusion, I carry the weight of knowing what it means to fight for freedom both in and out of uniform.
This year’s National Trans Visibility March (NTVM), held during WorldPride, is a full-force declaration of our existence, our resilience, and our right to shape our future.
