Ross Tester stepped away from competition to reconnect with skiing on a personal level and is returning to competitive freeride skiing with renewed commitment. The 2026 comeback follows a successful 2025 wildcard run that included 1st at Baqueira Beret Pro, 2nd at Xtreme Verbier, and a 6th-place overall finish. Ross earned Rookie of the Year in FWT21 and placed 3rd overall in FWT22, developing speed and a repertoire of tricks over the years. Ross expresses excitement about the wildcard opportunity, new and classic stops, strong competitor fields, and the chance to showcase his best skiing.
