Arteta rules out Jesus Arsenal exit in January - Soccer News
"Mikel Arteta has ruled out a January exit for Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus after he made his return from injury. Jesus suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in January during Arsenal's FA Cup tie with Manchester United, but made his return in the Gunners' Champions League win over Club Brugge on Wednesday. The Brazilian made a strong impression on his return, creating one chance for his team-mates before firing off three shots, one of which crashed against the crossbar."
"Arsenal have won their last eight Premier League games against Wolves, their longest winning run against an opponent since a run of 10 against Burnley from 2010 to 2019. This will be the 42nd Premier League match between the top side and the bottom side, with the league leaders winning 30 of the previous 41 (D7 L4). Wolves are responsible for two of the bottom side's four victories, beating Manchester United at Molineux in both January 2004 and February 2011."
A January exit for Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out by Arsenal following his return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in January. Jesus returned in the Champions League win over Club Brugge, creating a chance and firing three shots, one of which struck the crossbar. He is unlikely to start immediately against Wolves but is expected to push for a place in the first eleven. Arsenal have a strong recent record against Wolves and are warned to avoid complacency ahead of the Premier League match at the Emirates.
