Winston quoted a Florida State post praising the women's soccer team and used it to criticize the football program on social media. The Seminoles women's soccer program has a 187-32-30 record since Winston graduated and won NCAA championships in 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2025. The women's team has been the most successful college women's soccer program nationally during that period.
