About 4.5 million people registered for the Visa presale draw, with the largest number of applications from the three host countries and high interest from Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Italy. FIFA will notify successful applicants no later than 48 hours before each sales window opens, and notified fans receive a 24-hour window to purchase tickets. The Visa presale purchasing window opened Wednesday and runs until mid-October, with roughly 1 million tickets available in the current phase. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed after successful notifications and must re-register for upcoming Phase 2 and Phase 3 draws.
