New manager Nuno Espirito Santo is prepared to reshape a struggling squad and has moved Ward-Prowse out of the side. There are whispers that his former club Southampton could re-sign him. A move would allow West Ham to sell and seek a replacement, give Southampton a returning club hero, and provide Ward-Prowse with more playing time to revive his season.
