Prince Harry says he wants to work at Disneyland
"I can imagine myself working there, Prince Harry said during the 20/20 interview. You know, life is full of surprises, his wife Meghan Markle said with a smile while sitting at his side. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex raved about their visit to Disneyland in June with their kids Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie to celebrate Lili's fourth birthday during The Happiest Story on Earth special on ABC's 20/20 newsmagazine TV show."
"Prince Harry probably doesn't need the money, but plenty of people work at Disneyland as their fun job. What could Harry do at Disneyland? He actually has a pretty strong resume for a royal. His longest work experience: Ten years of military service as an army officer and pilot, including two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Disney has hired thousands of veterans and active-duty military personnel since the inception of the company's Heroes Work Here program in 2012."
"Harry has founded and worked for several charities, foundations and organizations like the Invictus Games, Sentebale, Archewell, BetterUp and Travalyst through the years. The Disneyland resort gave $1 million in grants to local nonprofits and school districts in 2024 as part of its community workforce development initiative. Harry could certainly find work at Disneyland helping veterans or charities, but those would be desk jobs at Team Disney Anaheim."
Prince Harry expressed interest in working at Disneyland and imagined himself employed there while Meghan noted that life is full of surprises. The couple visited Disneyland in June with Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie to celebrate Lili's fourth birthday, and Harry said the park brings out the kid in people. Harry's background includes ten years as an army officer and pilot with two tours in Afghanistan and leadership roles in charities and organizations such as Invictus Games, Sentebale, Archewell, BetterUp and Travalyst. Disneyland offers veteran hiring programs, community grants, and many cast-member positions that match his experience.
