Twelve celebrities will each pair with a professional dancer and perform a live routine every week after seven days of practice. Four judges — Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian and Karen Byrne — together with the viewing public will score the performances. Confirmed contestants include Ireland AM host Eric Roberts, a 34-year-old Donegal native and children’s author, and Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh, a 57-year-old singer with early ballet experience.
