Experience: I travelled the world delivering letters to strangers
Briefly

After losing her father to motor neurone disease, a long-time traveler returned to her hometown, only to discover her passion for travel reignited during a trip to the Galapagos. Inspired by the unique postbox at Post Office Bay, she began a mission to deliver letters left by tourists, a journey reflecting her love for adventure and honoring her father's memory. This initiative not only serves as a means of personal healing but also raises awareness about MND through engaging social media documentation.
The old whisky barrel at Post Office Bay offers a poignant connection to the past, bridging communication between sailors and modern travelers while fostering human connections.
Delivering the letters became a cathartic journey for me, allowing me to process my grief while honoring my father by engaging meaningfully with others.
After years of travel, I found a new purpose post-grief, combining my love for adventure with a mission to deliver letters and share stories.
