Pan Am has been revived as a luxury private jet travel service, retracing its iconic routes. Operated with a chartered Boeing 757 featuring Pan Am's livery, the service is branded as "Pan Am Journeys by Private Air." The inaugural trip included a 12-night tour from New York to Europe with stops in luxury destinations. Each passenger experiences high-end amenities and nostalgic connections to the airline's history, with tickets priced at $60,000. Travelers included former airline staff and their families, enhancing the sentimental value of the experience.
The inaugural trip took off this June, following Pan Am's original transatlantic circle route to Europe, originally flown by the famous Pan Am Clippers.
The 757 aircraft named Yankee Clipper II features 50 fully-flat business class seats, each with a $60,000 price tag.
At each destination, passengers enjoy top-tier meals and drinks, insightful tours, and aviation-themed experiences, all evoking nostalgia for the Pan Am brand.
Many of the travelers aboard the maiden journey consisted of former flight attendants, Pan Am sales agents, or children of former pilots.
