""My world stood still the day I discovered my mother was missing. Since then, not a day has passed without questions. "She was a teacher for many years, beloved by many. A mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and now a grandmother. "I have had to learn to live with the unknown and be strong for my family's sake.""
""It's been a year since Nazire was last seen and her family remain without the answers they deserve. "We continue to keep an open mind and share our optimism with Nazire's family that she will be found safe and well. "Nazire had many friends and acquaintances in the Bexley area and we are asking anyone who knew her to think back and contact us if they saw her between September 2024 and March 2025.""
Nazire Koreli, 55, was last seen near her home in Welling, Bexley, in September 2024 and was reported missing to police on 28 February 2025. Her family said their lives will never be the same and urged the public to come forward. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of Ms Koreli's murder on 10 March and later released on bail as inquiries continue. Officers searched her home and reviewed hundreds of hours of CCTV. Police described her as slim with light brown hair and olive skin and asked anyone with information to contact 101 or the Major Incident Public Portal.
