Yunus stated that the allegations are a legal matter, expressing confidence in the Anti-Corruption Commission investigating Siddiq. Siddiq denies the accusations, describing them as a politically motivated attack, and suggested that a meeting could clarify misunderstandings. Yunus maintained his stance on not interrupting legal processes, insisting that the court will determine the validity of the allegations against Siddiq.
Yunus stated, "No I'm not because it's a legal procedure. I don't want to interrupt a legal procedure. Let the procedure continue."
Siddiq asserted that Bangladeshi authorities have not provided any evidence to support their allegations and refuse to engage with her lawyers.
