"Whether it's how long to boil an egg or checking when your favourite TV show is on, Google is the go-to for many weird and wacky questions. Now, the search engine has revealed our most Googled queries of 2025. The tech giant's 'Year in Search' report highlights the top trending people, entertainment, moments and most-asked questions in the UK throughout the year."
"'2025 was the year an American became pope, KPop Demon Hunters topped the charts and new AI breakthroughs captured people's imaginations,' Google data editor Simon Rogers said. 'These moments and many others inspired people around the world to follow their curiosity in new ways. People want to understand more about the world around them.'"
"Once known for his rugged good looks and charisma, actor Mickey Rourke experienced a fall from grace this year when he was booted off CBB for 'inappropriate language' and 'unacceptable behaviour'. The resulting flurry of Google searches placed the 73-year-old in the top spot for people. Another who made the top 10 list was English pornographic film actress Bonnie Blue, who shot to fame after claiming to have had sex with more than 1,000 men in the space of 12 hours."
