Jerry Maloney, a 19-year-old from Newbridge, Co Kildare, lost his life in a tragic pick-up truck accident on Barrettstown Road. The collision occurred shortly after 8pm on June 5, rendering Mr Maloney deceased upon arrival at Naas General Hospital. His family expressed their heartbreak on social media, detailing the profound impact of his passing, particularly his brothers. The driver, also a teenager, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Gardaí continue to investigate and seek witnesses to the incident.
