While I live near several supermarkets, staple products I took for granted in the US are missing. Additionally, the shorter business hours in the UK add to the grocery shopping challenges. Fortunately, I discovered an Italian marketplace that offered familiar flavors, though at a higher price.
Shopping for groceries in the UK has thrown me for a loop, with major differences in product availability and business hours compared to my experience in the US.
I was shocked to learn that half-and-half just doesn't exist in the UK, and that my husband had been mixing a custom blend of milk and cream for my coffee.
