The Axon T10 device, recently approved for use, boasts a range of up to 45ft (13.7m). This significantly extends its reach, nearly doubling that of the previous Taser 7 model, which operated at a maximum of 25ft (7.6m), according to Alex Lowe, Axon's UK and Ireland regional director."

About 20 police forces have already signed up and live camera feeds can be viewed by support officers from a control centre.
