Police and paramedics were called to Blackhorse Road at about 10:45 GMT on 11 December after reports that a woman was unresponsive. The 70-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Emma Nightingale, 36, of Blackhorse Road, has been charged with murder in connection with the death. She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 13 December. Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference CAD 2318/11DEC. The incident occurred in Walthamstow, east London.
