Reform claims to now have more members than Labour
"As we have suspected for some time, Reform has overtaken Labour to become the largest political party in British politics - a huge milestone on our journey to win the next election. "The age of two-party politics is dead.""
"Our membership figures are published in our annual report. We do not give a running a commentary on them throughout the year."
Reform UK reports more than 268,000 paid-up members using a live online counter that only includes people who paid an annual fee of £25 or £10 for under-25s. The Times reports Labour membership has fallen below 250,000, while Labour says membership figures will be published in its annual report and declines to give running commentary. Political party membership figures are not legally required to be published or independently verified. Labour's annual accounts previously recorded 333,235 members at the end of last year, down from over 530,000 under Jeremy Corbyn, with a reported loss of 37,000 members during 2024. Reform has led national opinion polls since spring.
