Man found dead in van on Rehoboth property identified, prosecutors say
"David Lunn, 54, was found dead in a "workstyle van" at 107 County St., where a pregnant teen was allegedly murdered last month. Lunn was found unresponsive on the property by a relative just before 7 a.m. Friday morning, the Bristol County District Attorney's Office said in a press release. Lunn's wife, 48, was also found unresponsive in the van, according to the DA's office."
"She was hospitalized in critical but stable condition, along with two dogs, who were released to Rehoboth Animal Control and appeared to be in good condition. Rehoboth police investigated and found that the couple had been living on the property for a few weeks in the van, which is registered out of Vermont, prosecutors said. Rehoboth fire officials also did a carbon monoxide check of the van, but found no presence of carbon monoxide."
David Lunn, 54, was found dead inside a workstyle van at 107 County St. in Rehoboth. A relative discovered Lunn unresponsive just before 7 a.m. Friday. Lunn's 48-year-old wife was also found unresponsive and was hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Two dogs were transported to Rehoboth Animal Control and appeared in good condition. The couple had been living in the van on the property for several weeks and the van is registered in Vermont. Rehoboth fire officials performed a carbon monoxide check and found no presence of carbon monoxide. Police noted a possible history of substance abuse by the couple, but investigators have not linked that history to Lunn's death. The investigation will remain open pending the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's determination of cause of death.
