A Gates spokesperson called those claims absurd and false, saying the documents reflect Epstein's efforts to entrap and defame rather than an ongoing relationship. Melinda French Gates described feeling unbelievable sadness and called the revelations heartbreaking, saying no girl should be subjected to what Epstein's victims endured and noting the personal pain of recalling her daughters at similar ages.
